Excellent purchase. This mount holds both phones very firmly. without movement and shaking. and the added bonus of a pro mount in the middle. very happy with this product.

I had to remake both mounts for our phones. A laptop 20 or an iPhone 12 with a case just won't fit in because they don't open wide enough. Still looking for the best product.

Installation was easy, remove the cover and two screws, attach the bracket and reattach the two screws. Phones are held firmly, and when your hands are on the dashboard, the phone doesn't sag. We couples will not be happier with this simple mod. Allows my sat nav to turn on and boot the phone to get location while mine uses the phone's CarPlay navigation and weather forecast to dodge downpours in Florida. Don't like the current weather, wait a few hours, it will change ;)

Very easy installation as everyone said remove the original rubber cover and unscrew the two mounting screws you can install the new mount which in 5 minutes or less done. Setting up phones is easy and there are so many different configurations. I've used the iPhone 6 and 10 with cases and they hold up well and are durable on tarmac. Haven't tried off-road or trails yet, but should be fine. I've tried 3 other phone holders and am impressed with this one so far.

Cons: cheap plastic construction, cheap plastic ball joints which are rubberized but don't work, the only 2 screws holding everything together, the panel doesn't provide enough strength to hold your phone wobbles on paved roads. Pros: The plastic of the entire unit is the same as the picture on the Sport JL/JT dashboard, 2 device mounts plus a camera in the middle, easy to install with just 2 screws, although it's not really strong enough to hold phones from shaking .
