📞 VTech CS6629: Dect 6.0 Cordless Answering System with 1-Handset for Efficient Communication Review

Simple and easy to use. No frills. This is a regular cordless phone with an answering machine. If you need something like that, then this works.

Installs in minutes. Works perfectly. Easy to use and very clear sound. The volume of the ringer can be adjusted, but it can be loud, which is nice to hear around the house. The handwheel battery lasts a very long time. Great phone and we love the answering machine!

Nothing fancy here. Stable performance only. The phone has a built-in answering machine. It's small enough not to get in the way when placed on a table or counter. I have a landline number because I keep my cell phone off and honestly I don't want everyone calling me on the same number. I really like this little phone. It's not expensive and has many useful features.

. The phone itself is pretty good. The problem is when you hang it on the wall. It couldn't be worse. It looks like a blind man designed the wall mount. It sits high on the plug and you can see 3 or 4 inch bracket underneath. Extremely ugly. See attached picture. If you intend to use it as a desk phone, it looks and works well.

Yes we still use a landline for our business. Protects our phones from the flood of telemarketers. This phone was perfect - easy to set up; Instructions for use were clear; works perfectly. We also didn't like the voicemail provided by the phone company - we had to pick up the phone and listen for messages and it was impossible to intercept the messages. So we have stopped the voicemail service and are using the voicemail system of this phone. It's perfect for our needs. Very satisfied.

I have had this phone for 18 days now. It was easy to set up and worked well for about 10 days. First, the buttons on the handset stopped working and didn't match their functions. The autoresponder has stopped deleting messages. When I clicked delete, the "Click again and delete" message repeated and was overlaid with another message saying I had a new message.
