VTech Explore Crawl Learning Cub Review

This is a piece of junk. My kid loves this bear. Less than 2 months after we started this it stopped working. Obviously some kind of mechanical failure of the chip. It crawls or talks for about 2 seconds, then beeps a few times and stops. I went through the Amazon return window so we're stuck with a bear crawler that doesn't crawl. They would also let me exchange. plan to contact Vtech directly as this is totally unacceptable.

This bear is super cute, I bought it for my granddaughter but it drains the batteries in hours without use, not to mention it only crawls in a couple of seconds. Hutton Press, which leaves a lot to be desired. At first we thought we might not have put new batteries in, but after buying new batteries and trying it out, it still turns off after a few uses. I wasn't aware that I missed the return deadline or I would have sent it back. Don't waste money!

We were very happy with this for our 6 month old hoping it would encourage him to crawl. Unfortunately, it only moves a few inches and then stops and waits for you to press the button on its back so it can start moving again. It would be nice to have a mode where it moves a few inches every few minutes for a long time. A child can't follow it and expect them to push a button, and then we as parents basically have to stand on top of the toy. The quality and the sound are good.

So this is the cutest little Eva toy! It made my new caterpillar granddaughter laugh and laugh and then chase after her! The songs are the cutest and so easy to sing along to. Lots and lots of laughter. BEFORE. This took about 2 weeks. Then the bear suddenly took 2-3 steps, honked several times and stopped! I ordered this for Christmas for my daughter who was 10 months at the time and she was so excited to get it for her on Christmas morning when she opened it up and tried to crawl. The damn bear was defective and didn't crawl, I was so upset. And so did she because she wanted it and he didn't squeak or crawl. I love this little lion cub, it crawls like a baby. So far my daughter doesn't crawl but I love letting her spend time on the floor with this little guy and I hope that one day she will use him as a reference to start her own floor journeys! Poor quality, died after 2 months of use. I saw it in a blogger post. It was cute, functional - it made noise when showing baby how to crawl, what a cute toy! So I bought it.
