Description of VViViD Air-Tint Self-Adhesive Headlight Tinting Vinyl (Light Smoke (15

Air-Tint is an industry first: a headlight/taillight tint with all of the technologies developed in VVIVID+ premium materials. They include an air-release membrane which allows you to install the tint dry ( without installation liquid ) Ready to use out of the box!. This film can wrap ANY SHAPE of headlight, taillight or foglight. It is super conformable with heat. It was originally manufactured for hard-to-wrap surfaces, but the ease of install has professionals saving time on any headlight shape. This film is also self healing and scratches will go away with heat! Simply cut the vinyl to shape, and apply it to the surface. To make the vinyl conform to curves, simply heat with a heat gun or hair dryer, stretch and apply. Lastly, using a sharp blade, trim away excess from the headlight and you're done! its literally that simple!. Made with automotive grade cast vinyl. The adhesive is acrylic based which will not eat through plastic like other tints on the market. It is 100% chemical safe, and will not eat through headlight coatings or damage your lights. NOTE: Ensure that you measure your headlights prior to purchasing any headlight tints.

Great product! Best in Fixtures and Lighting Accessories

It was the perfect shade! Dark enough to dim the taillights but bright enough not to affect light output. Installation is not bad. Take your time and get a blow dryer or blow dryer. Pretty forgiving stuff. I will definitely use again!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Melts on very low heat! Garbage!

Waste of money. Watch a video of preparation and installation using pressure tools and a hair dryer. The damn vinyl melted on me when the dryer set it on the lowest setting. It is also very difficult to wrap curved lights. I ended up throwing the packaging away. I ended up using VHT NITE SPRAY. Much easier and no problem at all. I do NOT recommend this crap. There's a reason it's cheap

  • Sturdy construction

Farewell, Plastidip! good for light covers

VVivid is a brand worth checking out, especially if you're new to vinyl. He's so forgiving and easy to work with. It won't show fingerprints even if you take it off and need to change position or placement. It is hard-wearing and withstands the sun, car washes, rain, dust and stone chips. But it's still easy to remove without leaving any damage. Whether it's badges, headlights or the whole car, you can't go wrong.

High quality easy to use film

Used for taillights on the rear bumper. I don't have before photos but you can see the difference to my regular taillight which is not tinted at all. I wanted a dark film but still transparent enough to show my taillight. Was very easy to install just make sure you clean your lights/areas very well with an alcohol mix. And have a steady hand when cutting. Easier to install than Lamin-X, that's for sure. Maybe I'll get a lighter shade for my regular taillights.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Looks great! Can be used for more than just headlights.

I used this to 'fix' the factory cruise control radar/badge on my Mazda 3 Turbo. Light smoke goes almost perfectly with the black factory grille. Installation was easy - just make sure to clean whatever you are tinting before applying. A heat gun can also help a little to get the vinyl into tight corners. Almost 2 months have passed, I have not noticed any bubbles or defects. It even appears to be resistant to shavings and dirt from road debris and bugs, almost like a small form of paint…

  • handy
Cons
  • not reliable

Follow the steps in the video

Much better end product compared to other brands pre-cut products I have used and no orange peel effect. The light smoke was a little darker than expected, but the light reduction is minimal. The photo shows the rear lights without the brake light. The heat gun is a must and check out all the videos! My taillights have many angles and I had to redo them, but it was a lot easier the second time after looking at some manuals. It won't be long to be honest, but I'd recommend buying an extra film…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some minor things

color comparison. Dark vs Light Tinted Rear Lenses

I wanted to tone down the rear lenses and didn't know where to start and how much I wanted the red toned down. I started with a black shade and really liked the look, but not much light from the bulb, especially during the day. Next I drove into light smoke and that was exactly what I was looking for. I took this photo of only the left rear lens with light smoke and the other three with dark smoke. Hope this helps someone make the right choice. As for the application? Buy extra ones for…
