Description of VViViD Bio HEX Air-Tint Headlight Vinyl Roll (12&#34

NOTE: This product is built like a color change wrap and may be used on paint, trims and other projects as well as headlights and taillights. Color : High Gloss "Medium to light" tinted smoke with pulsing holographic effect, part of the 2020-2021 edition launch. Micro Hex-tint refers to the size of the hexagonal pattern. It is half the size of the original hex tint by vvivid vinyl. New and improved vinyl formula developed in Canada reduces the risk of shrinking or peeling almost completely. Ultra-Clear Adhesive allows you to lift and reposition this tint multiple times without risking fingerprints, glue lines or marring. Dry application requires no messy liquids!

NEED HEAT. - Headlight assembly, parts and accessories

They look fantastic. They definitely need heat for gluing, especially when it's cold outside and the car body is cold. Before you begin, grab a heat gun. They are actually darker than the picture but let all the light through.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Good product! Looks great!

Very easy assembly, 1 sheet was enough for both headlights on my 2017 VW Tiguan. Looks great! What you will need for installation: - Utility knife (razor blade) - Heat gun - Rubber scraper - Scissors (for cutting vinyl to size) - Isopropyl alcohol to clean before application - Microfiber cloth to dry. no practice or previous experience with tinting/vinyl.

Easy to install, looks great.

I used Vvivid to wrap my Mustang so I had to place an order when I saw this. Luckily I ordered it while it was still in "pre-order" (I'm so glad it won't be sold out for who knows how long) so I got it pretty quickly. I am uploading a photo of a set of goggles as I was wondering if they can be used on a motorcycle visor. Overall good thickness and forgiving vinyl. It took about an hour for both lights and I'm new to vinyl wrap. I will have the coolest minivan on the street! Nobody said. Many…

Very thick vinyl: headlight covers

I've used their other vinyls before with a happy smile but this particular version doesn't have a thin peelable plastic cover to remove. Believe me I spent half an hour trying two different buns bought at two different times. When it's there, it's glued on like super glue! This makes tricky corners a real mess as the vinyl is so thick it clumps. (grimaces) No amount of heat, manipulation, stretching can handle that. Their other products are excellent, so only use this version if you have…

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • could have chosen a newer model

I think I got a bad batch, I've used this before but this time when I pulled to reset the film placement the glue on it was white , and a little left on the surface of my tail light. This was the first time it had been placed on a surface without the use of pressure and heat to make it adhere in this way. It was almost like Elmers glue. It also smelled like vinegar unlike the first one I bought earlier. Test it a little first, so you can return it because of defect. I have already removed the…

Not what I expected

First of all, like all Vvivid films, they are easy to apply (like wraps are) and of good quality. In this case, I was expecting a clear vinyl with some sort of holographic honeycomb pattern. The vinyl is clear and the pattern is a beautiful rainbow honeycomb, but the hexagon pattern on the film is white. I wanted it for the taillights, but I wouldn't use it for that. Makes red white. If you want it for the headlights it will probably be fine. Or even for a cool color effect on a white car, etc.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME MOVIE!

First I applied it to my headlights. GREAT. Then I applied it to my laptop. ABSENCE. Then I finally said to myself, why the hell don't I apply this to my mountain bike. JUST UNBELIEVABLE! Everyone was enthusiastic about my bike and the film. It's really stunning! So many possibilities! It's very easy to apply if you have a basic knowledge of reading vinyl and troubleshooting as you can ruin it if you heat it too much or stretch it too much! Best when applied by a professional for best results…

Cons
  • So-so

Takes time for a beginner but looks great

This was my first attempt at wrapping or using vinyl and honestly I can't stand anything handmade. I won't lie and say it was very easy, but it wasn't as difficult as I expected and I managed to do it in about 1-1.5 hours after watching the YouTube instruction video. I was an idiot and decided to apply this during the day when the temperature was 80F in direct sunlight so I was sweaty but it really warmed it up and helped stretch it but whatever you definitely need a heat gun, to remove bubbles

  • Pleasant to use
