Not sticky, not shiny and too thick.

I bought this vinyl with the intention of wrapping my car's chrome trim to make it gold colored. The initial problem when opening the packaging was that it's actually not gold in the sense of shiny chrome, but gold in the sense of a metallic yellow. If I had to describe its color I would call it metallic yellow candy. There is no specular reflection as I saw in the stock photos. I decided to give it a try anyway as it really isn't a BAD color, just not gold. The second problem I found is that…

Pros
  • Stain and scratch resistant finish lasts 4-7 years on exterior surfaces and up to 10 years on interior surfaces.
Cons
  • Not bad
