Easy to install, high quality vinyl. I added this as a center stripe on the hood and front bumper. It matched the exact color and quality of my factory matte black decals on my Daytona Charger so I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to match the quality, color and look of this car.

With a little practice and watching instructional videos, this film will apply quickly, cleanly and easily. Works best on a warm day; I tried making some when it was 50 degrees and it got less pliable and hard to control. Wrapping around tight corners or recesses adds complexity to the application to a point I can't handle yet, but flatter surfaces and smooth curves are nothing. Be sure to use a non-knife cutting tape for a perfect end product.

So I ordered the matte black vinyl on Wednesday and got it on Friday and it's great. On Sunday I decided to continue working on the vinyl project I had for my car. This is a finished product. The vinyl is of very good quality and is made of a good durable material. I managed to tear a few of these apart, but that's because I'm a big brute and used to a lot of power and the wrong tools. But in the end it turned out great. I am very happy.

I think it is a good product but it was very difficult to install. As you can see from the first photo, it was a "failure". I read the instructions and watched a few videos on YouTube. I wanted to chrome the footpegs on my 4Runner Limited instead of replacing them with black footpegs. My first try didn't go so well. Once I figured out what I was doing, the end result looked amazing. It would be hard for me to say that they weren't originally black footpegs. I recommend buying more than you need if this is your first experience. It will come off pretty easily if you mess it up, but I couldn't save the vinyl on my first try.

I usually struggle with vinyl and decals - always a wandering bubble. It was a lot easier than expected and gave me plenty of time to reposition it a few times before heating it up for installation. Preferably without bubbles! Tips: Leave the pieces in the sun for 5 minutes before beginning. This helped loosen up the shape it had after twisting and made it easier to work with.
