Easy to cut to fit windows and I didn't have to peel anything from the backing to stick. I just used Windex on the window and on the film and it stuck with no problems, there were bubbles but it did the job

Do not purchase this product if you are looking for a temporary dimming solution or plan to reuse. It blocked the light very well and was easy to install but when I tried to remove it after 3 months it fell apart and was difficult to scrape off.

I bought it on purpose because static was used instead of glue. I didn't want to leave a trace if I decided to erase them. This product does not use static cling. I removed the backing to find the sticky glue. I got too deep into the project to stop. I am very disappointed that I paid so much for a product that was not static sticky vinyl.

The film is about as sticky as a cell phone screen cover and its texture is similar to an old camera film. I used it on a skylight in my son's room, on a horizontal surface, working above my head was a little difficult to smooth out any wrinkles but it worked as it should. I used a glass shower scraper to remove most of the air bubbles. It is completely black, no light comes through. A tip: cut it a little more than you need, it's hard to get perfect angles.

The foil arrived in a cardboard tube - amazing packaging so it arrived in great condition. As for statics, not so much. When I removed the backing the film stuck to itself. Once applied to my windows it looked beautiful (I used it to make window silhouettes for Halloween). A few areas are puffy, but I assume it was my fault for the uneven application of the film. When I tried to peel off the foil a few weeks later, it peeled off in streaks, leaving a sticky residue. I haven't finished filming…
