Great boots for rain/snow!

These are great rubber boots. I wear 11.5 men's shoes and these 4x go perfectly with my motorcycle boots. durable corrugated tough sole. They have a zipper in the middle of the top of the foot with a tab that makes them easy to put on. And they have a drawstring around the ankle to keep them secure. They're really waterproof and durable enough to last a while.

I have to wear vibrams because of back pain. They are not waterproof. I live near Seattle. I'm not far from work, but far enough to get my socks wet (there's always a puddle I can't see) and then I have to work like that. Yick, but better than back pain. Enter it! They have completely flat soles with no support, which is EXACTLY what I wanted. They appear to be durable enough to last about a year with moderate use. When they arrived it was pouring rain. Keeps my "good " shoes dry, great product for the price. Size XL fits perfectly with my usual size 8 shoes, a little difficult with sneakers.

My doctor allowed me to attend a music festival, but rain is forecast. I don't spend enough time outdoors to justify spending on wellies, and more importantly, I MUST wear my "good" shoes if my back can handle the journey. [My experience with wellies is that they don't provide enough arch support.] Eureka! Those were my answers! I wear a women's size 8, so I ordered a size XL. They wouldn't fit the chunky heel of my New Balance shoes [well, they would, but I didn't want to risk tearing them]…

They protect against rain and splashes, but are too big. UPDATE: Customer service is great, the heel still doesn't fit properly.

UPDATE 04/17/18: I originally bought the size XXXL for some reason but they were too big. I left a review thinking that XXXL was the only size available (see below) and Lucy from VXAR contacted me to kindly get me the right size for free. It was nice (although it's probably almost free for them since they're not exactly gold, but as I mentioned, very functional and holds up well after a few uses) and I applaud them for that. However, the new XXL fit my shoes better, but the real problem is that

Functional, Size XXXL Fits US size 9.5 Men's Oxford Shoes, Limited Wear

As I appreciate detailed comments from other Revain customers, I will do my best to include my detailed comments below to deliver. Size XXXL (3XL) fits well over my US size 9.5 oxford style work shoes.
