Enhanced W740-M SAVI 3-in-1 Convertible MOC (Home Office Solutions) Review

So obviously I have an odd ear shape - none of the earbuds fit my ear properly without causing pain. I ended up using the ear pads that came with my headphones. Also, the battery life only lasted about 4 or 5 hours. It won't help you get through an 8-hour workday.

Excellent headset. I bought it because I have a softphone for work and we also use Lync. It has great sound for both. I can walk around the house with no loss of sound and it lasts for two days on a charge (I'm not on it all the time). It's expensive, but I've been using Plantronics for years with no problems. If you work from home and can move around while on the call, it's a good investment!

I use this device in an industrial plant and the range is great. I can exit my office through two solid concrete walls and walk about 100 feet from the base before disconnecting. The battery life is okay, but after a long day of calling or very long calls (over 3 hours) the battery will die. The device is convenient in that it can also be connected to a computer and a mobile phone, so you can use a headset for Skype or answer calls on a mobile phone. Purchased to work with Obi 1062 and then Obi 2182 with headset jack. For me this works much better than a Bluetooth headset as it uses DECT for the wireless connection compared to the shorter range Bluetooth (which means I can walk to the edge of my driveway without interference - the Bluetooth range is only about 30 feet). My home office is no more than 30 feet from the kitchen and it starts crackling halfway. :( However, being within range, people on the other end confirm that my voice is clear, there is little to no background noise. Cool and necessary. Switch between Dragon dictation and VOIP or Skype and Bluetooth calls on my iPhone 6 Plus simply by touching the buttons on the cradle. Touch the earpiece to activate SIRI.
