Works well with Lithonia

Although I couldn't find an exact description, this connector works great with Lithonia track lighting components. It fits perfectly and looks good.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • So far so good

Complex setup solved.

Easy to install, fits our ceiling at an odd angle. Only suitable for H gauge. Not suitable for gauge "J". I used flexible glue to stick it to the ceiling. I love it!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not sure

The choice of connectors

I have not used it yet, I will update after installation. However, I'm including this photo for reference in case anyone else has the same problem deciding which angle to buy to connect to the VAC live end connector. The corner shown is the RIGHT L-shaped connector. I bought the wrong one. I'm doing a clean install so I can get it working, but that's not my preferred way of powering it.

Pros
  • is a practical thing
Cons
  • is not reliable

Fits perfectly, works perfectly.

Fits and works well. Easy to use. Please note that there is a left and a right. I only had one curve with two new pieces of track and it didn't matter if I drove left or right. I'm right, and FYI the raised lip side of the track and the ground strip on the inside are inside the curve. Be careful not to get confused looking at the pieces in your hand or at the ceiling where it goes.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

The solution when no other connector worked

First of all, this is a quality device: it works, well assembled, finished, just like my tracks. Second, it matches the regular, regular Lithonia (Gauge H). Note: Lithonia makes a corner connector, however this will ONLY work on ceiling mounts; Lithonia does not offer a wall mount connector. This flexible mount fits both. Yes you can buy a ceiling mount and twist and bend the connector to make it work and then I suppose make some kind of cover for it but - why would you want that when you have…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Big and bulky

You must know the difference in track lighting!

The difference between the "H" and "J" tracks can be a bit confusing when trying to combine an old J track with a Lithonia H track. There is a distinct difference between "H". Trace ("H" short for Halo) is a three-wire trace with polarity and a ground strip. This trace contains a ground conductor. Most lights sold today have a three-prong base. Track "J" (abbreviated as Juno) and 2-wire track "H" (3-pin) connectors (straight or angled) are not interchangeable with Gauge "J" (2-wire). "H" track…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some little things

This solves all problems when laying tracks!

If money were no object I wouldn't even buy regular 90 degree connectors. They solve all transition problems that can occur when laying a rail, especially when the surfaces are at an angle to each other. Even better if you are turning a corner and need to change the angle of the ceiling (like in my picture) this will do it all. You could even rotate the rail around its axis if you have it installed on your space station gallery. This is a complete solution to problems in such environments! If…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • There are downsides
