these casters work very well. They withstand high loads and at the same time roll easily. The locking mechanism is easy to use.

Portable 5kW Generator. The material is about right in terms of hardness/"flexibility" for driving on concrete and paved roads. My only doubt is the plastic locking mechanism - it's sturdy and holds up well, but I'm wondering how long it will hold up with commercial abuse and/or constant cycling. Don't worry, in my case I only do this once a month or so, but steel would be far more reliable.

Our department needs 2 of these to replace on a cart with polyurethane parts falling off the wheels. The original roller assemblies were as light as 4x3/4s, so I wanted to upgrade to a 2" wide wheel. It was surprisingly difficult to find a 4x2 wheel with a mounting plate this size. This turned out to be the best option I found.
