Very happy with this tool!

That's a good tool! I used to have a Wahl nose trimmer and it has worked great for 10 years. This one seems even better. More powerful engine, more perfect. I was concerned that the kit didn't come with a blade cover but it was just clear plastic so you can't see it in the picture or even on the packaging. Val is a quality product.

Won't be long. I had 2 months when he just left me.

It won't be long. Mine was 2 months. I've used it for about two months and about half a dozen times and it just gave up on me. I tried a new Duracell battery and then banged it a few times and that was it. Just walk away. Unfortunately I can't return it because I think too much time has passed, so I have no option for an exchange or of course a refund. Even when it worked, it didn't exactly surpass others I've had in the past. A pity for me).

My second in over 10 years

Works just as well as the first. Lightweight, one AA battery, long battery life on a standard battery, easy to clean by removing the top and rinsing. Also good for the hair between the eyebrows.

Worked great but is dead now

Bought as a gift. Bf uses it about once a week or maybe every week and a half. I gave it to him in December 2017 and this week (mid-August 2018) he passed away. He changed the battery to see if that's the case. Still does not work. Looks like a guarantee, I'll give it a try. The warranty terms on Wahl's website show that you have to pay the postage to have it delivered to them, so that sucks considering it was $18 and shipping would probably be around $5. Maybe the manufacturer is banking on…

Heats up after short use, does not cut well.

My friend recommended the Wahl brand for the nose trimmer but the one I received heats up very quickly at the tip before lasting very long. And not all hair is removed.
