My 12 year olds love them, the plug is on the outside which is a plus as they don't rub or hurt. Comfortable for short wearing times. There is no heel support so this is definitely not a hiking shoe. It's a fashion statement and that's what I'm here for.

Great looks and reasonable charge time for LED lights. However, you need an accompanying tool to take out the front wheels, which means you have to sit down when removing them and then have a place to store the wheels. In other words, losing the front wheels is very easy. The armor wheels pop out at the back with a button, but be careful when heel-stopping as this wears down the back of the shoe. Otherwise my daughter loves it.

My son loves these shoes. They last a long time and the flashlights hold a charge for several socks before needing to be recharged. Bought for my son's birthday in December. It's late January and both of the backlight control buttons fell off. You can no longer use the light. 3 stars because my son loved them. Too bad they lasted longer.

Got two pairs for my kids for Christmas, silver and gold. The gold shoes' cord broke after being worn twice, so they can't be recharged (unless you hold the cord for 30 minutes) or change color. Pros: The kids loved them. They are pretty comfortable, they look very cool. Cons: Pretty poor customization quality around the loading area. It's a shame because my kids really liked them. I will try Taobao for a small price.

Bought these as an alternative to the original Skechers lights. Bought gold for our son and he loved her. I bought them from the ebay warehouse. They didn't have a charger, but I had so many it didn't matter. I bought these to go with my grandson's astronaut suit. These "space boots" are beautiful. They change color, change flash... just amazing. He wore them every day for a month and they still work.

My son wore the sneakers 2 times and then one of them stopped charging. I can see that this seems to be an issue with this shoe. I sent them back and received a replacement shoe straight away (like the next day!), which I really appreciated. I hope this 2nd pair works all the time. Sequel follows.
