Excellent fitment and emissions

2006 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT 3.8L engine code number P0420 replaced with this part went MOT and passed. Straight bolt on manifold, you need to cut off the original catalytic converter and attach the rest of the exhaust pipe to a new part.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Modern

Perfect fit and functionality. Excellent price.

Fits perfectly and works great. Passed the VA emissions test. Bolts directly to the header and the rest of the exhaust. The only problem was I had to buy a 45 degree elbow and cut off the old pipe to screw everything onto the existing pipe. Highly recommended as a cheap alternative to the outrageously expensive standard catalytic converter.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Secret

Nice cat, I got rid of the CEL I had on my '07 3.8 liter Dodge Grand Caravan, tried O2 sensors first, didn't help. If you're doing it yourself, buy a gasket and belt-style exhaust yoke. There was no clip included, had to be bought locally. I welded this to my existing exhaust if you can't do that and you take it to the exhaust shop tell them you need an old cat, I got $165 for my old cat helps offset the cost.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Slightly dented

After many working cycles the cat was not ready and when it finally did set the code for the lower oxygen sensor too quickly. I've tried o2 extensions but they don't seem to work well with Chrysler. I replaced the gearbox and intermediate pipe with a muffler and after a long ride everything was fine. nuts) was easy. Go to the dealer and buy original bolts and nuts - it simplifies the installation - probably in 15 years

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Requires a socket

New exhaust system at a great price for my 2005 Grand Caravan!

What has changed in the new exhaust system of my 2005 Grand Caravan? I needed a new catalytic converter and decided to replace the entire system at once (especially since I'm in New England and all the components are rotting from winter salt). I also added a new rear oxygen sensor, given the original's 10 years. I highly recommend having a local muffler shop do the installation as it costs $$ to do the job in an hour and you will still be way ahead of the local muffler shop who will sell youโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High-quality workmanship
Cons
  • Almost never
