Had to modify but works as advertised

Used with Walker repair flange. The springs were too tall, they held the end of the bolt too far from the flange to fit on the nut. Used a dremel to cut 1 1/2 coils from each spring and they fit like a champ.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • High price

I saved $1,000! good for performance Parts & Accessories

By keeping my existing exhaust system rather than replacing it due to a damaged flange I saved over $1000 and was able to do the job myself! This could be used flexibly according to my needs to create an airtight seal for the exhaust coupling. I will buy again immediately!

Pros
  • Pleased
Cons
  • Having trouble

The Ranger exhaust bolts worked just great.

Did a great job but deducted a star because I received an empty box, no screws, no empty/torn plastic bag. Come on Walker for selling it that way and Amazon for not realizing the box was empty. I knew something was missing as soon as I got up and took the unopened package from my door lol.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • No performance

Perfect fit for my 2003 B2300/Ranger 126 " wheelbase

Seems like some people have to make modifications to make it work, but they were almost identical to the OEM modifications that came around the Removing spring length was the same and the nuts were very similar. The only real difference was the bolt head was a larger nut than the old rusty factory bolts I removed.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Works well: Intake manifold and parts

Perfect for the Ranger, make sure you buy these when you change the gasket or pipe. There are no instructions but they are shoulder bolts so just tighten them until the shoulder is tight, the springs will do their job. Dude, I clamped the nuts with a vise and broke them. Be careful with the flange it attaches to, it's a little flimsy and flimsy - if it does break most auto parts stores have a flange repair kit to save the day.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend

  • Some little things

Used with Walker 52447 on Ford Explorer 4.0 MY 06.

Didn't manage to close the slot on the exhaust flange. Either the springs were too weak or the bolts were too long. I ended up upgrading it with about four stainless steel washers in each piece. in the spring to tighten the screws and everything was fine for more than 8 months. I would recommend finding another manufacturer for this part that may work even though it was listed as compatible with my car.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions

Everything is difficult. . .

Ok they didn't have instructions for installation BUT I just did it the way the previous screws were installed and figured I was probably close. I bought this with the 'Walker 36132 Hardware Flange Repair Kit NOW' which is a large cap for these screws. They didn't work on my 99 Ranger 4x4, 4.0 126" wheelbase. The problem lies in the design of the bolt. It has a larger OD, which is then reduced by one size. The larger OD part I think holds the Spring centered. Long story short I had to grind a…
