Lasts 2 years with EPA compliant part

I replaced my converter in April 2011. In April 2013 the code was returned so Walker replaced the transducer under a 5 year warranty. The dealer told me that aftermarket converters only lasted about 1 year. At least it was replaced, although I had to work hard to replace it again. The cost was about 70% lower than at the dealer. I took the truck to a local shop and had it checked to make sure everything was fine after the first time I replaced it and they found nothing wrong.

Pros
  • - For use in 1996 and later OBDII vehicles. Illegal for sale or use in California and Colorado. Legal in New York and Mexico only for vehicles equipped with EPA federal emissions. Please refer to your state's aftermarket regulations for details.
Cons
  • So far so good
