Accurate Cooling for My Car

This sensor accurately measures the temperature of my car's engine and ensures that it's not overheating. It's easy to install and fits perfectly in my automotive engine. The only downfall is that it's a bit pricey compared to other sensors on the market. Overall, I highly recommend this sensor to anyone in need of an accurate coolant temperature sensor for their vehicle.

Pros
  • Accurately measures the coolant temperature of a vehicle
Cons
  • Does not have a long lifespan and may need to be replaced frequently

Incorrect resistance values

The resistance at the terminals should be around 4500 ohms at room temperature. I checked the resistance with a multimeter and it was 36000 ohms.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • A few small things

Didn't work at all - replacement parts

I bought this temp sensor for my 2000 Ford F250 6.8 V10. Once installed, the coolant temperature sensor stayed cold even after many miles of driving. I ended up replacing it with a genuine Ford Motorcraft part and it worked great. As the packaging has been opened I cannot return the sensor which is very disappointing.

Pros
  • sensors
Cons
  • thin
