- Convenient functional radio
- It is advisable to have a spare battery and car charger
- Cheap and cheerful
- Not detected
- cheap, reliable, simple interface
- The charger is inconvenient to mount in the car. It would be great if it was made in the form factor of a cup holder, but alas.
- The range on a standard antenna at a wave of 70 cm, in the taiga (hills, dense forest, etc. Amur region) is 10-12 km of confident communication, I was very surprised, but the fact was checked more than once, so 8 km will be take ok. By the way, working at maximum power does not make much sense, all the indicators above were recorded at medium power.
- On the 2 meter range, it works worse than on the 70-ke, and it doesn’t matter in what conditions (settlement or taiga). Most likely 99% is due to the antenna, since it is a quarter wave of 70 cm, not 2 m, so it is more efficient to work at 70 cm. For 2 m, you need an antenna of at least 39 cm, then it will be normal. The buttons say they begin to wear out over time, but I still have everyone alive.
- Unexpectedly excellent quality of materials, pleasant in the hand, a lot of power in a fairly small body. Set up from a computer (cable required).
- For a transceiver with three power levels, only high and medium can be configured through a computer, if you need a small one, then only with your hands.
