A few months ago I reviewed this product with less than positive reviews. After receiving a replacement, I am rating this product five stars. The replacement was quick and the product worked well for several months. In fact, another church recently bought one after seeing how well ours worked.

Especially in these times of COVID it is very important for all of us to monitor and control our body temperature as it is one of the consequences of the virus. We are a working family, we use public transport and we really need it. I had one handy and compared this to test accuracy and precision. For the price this is a great product. I recommend.

I've always been a little skeptical about infrared thermometers, whether they're accurate, whether they'll last long enough, but when I got this one, I realized I used to should have bought , it is much easier to use, no need to touch the human body, and I can also check the temperature of the surfaces, which is very useful. I bought an infrared thermometer because I had an old ear thermometer but often had to change probe caps and decided to go with a non-contact infrared forehead thermometer. This instrument always reads low (95-96) degrees. We had an employee who was unwell and this thermometer showed his temperature was normal. Then he had an industrial temperature sensor test and he had a temperature of 102 degrees. We sent him home. He tested positive for Covid. Now we may have unmasked other employees by an employee because the device on our front door was inaccurate. Don't buy this. We have two and both are cheap ways to make money.
