Not as expected in Paint, Wall Treatments & Supplies

These fixes will not be distributed without understanding why this question is part of a review. The patches still need to be troweled to blend into the wall. I went back to just using putty or mesh tape and putty if needed.

Very good with little extra effort

I used these for spot repairs when the plaster had chipped. I found them particularly useful on outside corners. I had to put some putty around the edges to match my existing orange peel finish, but overall they worked well.

PERFECT DIY PROJECT.

I had a small hole in the wall where the motion sensor was mounted on the wall. There was a small hole about 1 inch in diameter. I used this product which has a round textured (like a wall) stain. I put the patch on the wall and it was so easy. I painted over the stain and now it's perfect. Nobody can tell. What an easy DIY job. I highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Wow they work great - a must for poor spatulas

Wow! wow wow wow I am TERRIBLE at Spackling and I very, very rarely leave reviews. I got them TODAY and quickly patched and painted over a few holes. I was shocked to see they actually work. I rubbed some glitter on top and around the edges (don't know if that made a difference) and it came out great. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not bad

Adheres well and the edges blend in well with the existing structure.

Never seen anything like it. Even with small holes or repairs, I always had to mend, sand, structure, prime, paint. While this is not a panacea, it is certainly suitable for quick and minor repairs. It's essentially a sprayed (and dried) adhesive-backed wall structure. You tear off a dot or strip and press it against the wall. The fields blend in well with the existing texture.

  • handy piece

Easy peasy on Wall Repair

Love it! If you have holes the size of a small screw or a slightly larger anchor, this is ideal. It closes the hole easily and offers different sizes to fit the whole. It also comes with 2 strips per sheet (2 sheets) if you had multiple holes in a row. I halved mine to fit my size which was also very easy. Didn't make much mess when cutting, attaching or attaching to the wall. The only request/comment I have is that I wish there were more sheets and/or more sizes.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend

  • Speed

Came for another 3

Started a big renovation project and one of the things I was afraid of was patching the big holes left by the drywall anchors. I ordered a pack of these just in case they work. I was so pleased with it that I immediately ordered three more. The first room I designed was a dressing room with a wire shelving system that needed rearranging. Each shelf left several 1/4 inch holes in the drywall. A small patch covered them well and I used larger patches and strips when 2 or 3 holes were close…

Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • I really don't like anything about it, everything is fine
