Plastic is not malleable. A few hooks broke off when trying to install them. The pin that goes into the board is too thick and too long. You must use such force that you break either the board itself or the hook. I refused and bought metal hooks. They fit perfectly and are very sturdy. Problem solved. My advice, buy metal hooks.

I really like these hooks! I found baskets that I really liked, but they only had screws for hanging. They are perfect for hanging all my baskets and then some. I thought they were pretty easy to use. I don't think they swing at all. I have 2 very large pegboards in my office that I have used these hooks on! Would give 10 stars if I could! Thanks for making this so I didn't have to use the industrial ugly hooks my husband got!

Didn't know I got 2 different hooks (didn't read the description) but it worked. Need straight hooks to hang more than one item. Used a standard home storage pegboard but had to really struggle to get each foot through the hole, a bad thing. The pins feel longer than the holes. Good thing it doesn't slip off so easily. The new kitchen managed to fit all kitchen utensils due to limited drawer space. Happy with the result.
