Item looked exactly like the picture. It appears to be very durable and will fit all of our mail (invoices, brochures, magazines, etc.). Although it came with screws, we used command bars to attach them. We ordered white and as others have mentioned it was painted over black. It seems like too small a detail not to trade in, but I still wish it was painted better.

I'm glad I bought this. I wanted something to hang on my door for my keys and for incoming and outgoing mail. It does the job perfectly. It's sturdy, yet wide enough to hold magazines and other mail. I like that it has 6 hooks, enough for my keys and other things. I am currently using command hooks with it and with the right command hooks it takes time. He didn't fall or anything.

Like another reviewer, I also received a badly painted mailbox with a strip of bulging (bleeding) paint down the middle. Also not completely painted from the inside, black on the inside. I wanted to return it but in the face of hassle I decided to sand down the raised paint and paint it silver (I had spray paint lying around or I wouldn't bother).
