It's worth it. Bought for my 7 year old child. Am a size 14/16 as she is taller than a normal 7 year old. Coped well with NY weather this week - mostly 40s but just as well when it dropped to 35s. It was a bit warm with layers so I think this will work well in cooler temperatures. Good quality, well made. Colors as in the photo. I have a light blue.

I like the way it looks like the picture shows. I ordered 8 for my 6 year old because he is tall and fits really well. Not too big. A little smaller than I thought, but fits. If it were heavier I'd say it's worth the money but still the average price of a coat today. My son loves it but I just hope it's warm enough. It's light but not flimsy. There is something promising about the material. Although not exactly fat.
