DO NOT buy a cup warmer if you want your coffee to stay warm. This product does not get hot enough to heat anything. Take metal plates.

I would set it on the hottest setting and put a mug of boiling hot tea on top and still not get warm (yes my mug was flat bottomed). Very disappointing. I don't see how it can actually heat something if it can't already keep something hot, hot.

I like that much better than I do. The cup has to be in the right place for it to work. When it's on, it makes a very high-pitched sound. It doesn't keep my coffee as warm as the one my kid got me in the Walgreen hosiery department 5 years ago. ummm. The color is beautiful.

I loved this little coffee warmer but today it stopped working. It's a lot better looking than the big ugly white ones and fits a variety of mug sizes. Normally, when you take the mug out, the indicator will flash until you put it back in. If you don't put the cup down, the heater will turn off. Now that it doesn't recognize the mug, I have to keep turning it on again.

This unit has a nice clean design, but it's not very efficient as a cup warmer. Here's why: The surface of the heater is made of glass, and glass is a very poor conductor of heat. Compared to steel, glass offers 40 times less heat transfer, meaning the heat from the heating element does not travel through the glass to the mug. do yourself a favor Buy a mug warmer with a METAL heating surface.

This mug warmer complements my desk perfectly and works almost as well as I expected. My only complaint is that the size of your mug really matters. Like the mug bottom style. I have a diverse collection of mugs and have found that some work well and others just aren't shaped enough to activate the heater. For this reason, I would prefer one without security features, ie power on is on and power off is off.

The coffee machine WAS SUPER! It had 2 temperatures to switch between with a simple press, the design was elegant and of course it kept my coffee warm. Fast forward 3 months and it's not getting hot anymore. I should have listened to other reviews. I've had this for a little over a month now and use it almost every day for several hours at a time. -3 hours. Keeps my tea from going into really rough, cold territory - doesn't keep it HOT for 2 hours, but keeps it at that nice average temperature that usually occurs about ten minutes after placing the mug on the table.
