Not warm enough and I'm in North Carolina!

This is not a heated towel rail at all. It's difficult for a normal person to install, and if anyone thinks this is a towel warmer, then I'm Santa Claus. In the best case it is a towel dryer. I had my towel on a hanger and although the rods are very hot the towel didn't get hot! If getting him back was easy, I would run to get him out of the house. It's better to put towels in the sun!

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Reliable towel dryer.

I wouldn't say this is a heated towel rail but it does a good job of drying towels. far enough apart that the heat doesn't spread throughout the towel, so it's always warm. However, since it uses very little energy, I have to say that hanging it up in your bathroom is a good thing.

  • Everything is fine!

Dangerous Skin Risk of burns.

Warning: Exposed pole pieces can burn skin if grabbed or hit. My wife initially complained but I didn't take it seriously until it happened to me a few times. A simple movement (probably happening naked in the bathroom) and an accidental collision or just a grazing shot will cause such an initial jolt from the extremely hot surface that you could tear a muscle or even slip and fall onto a potentially wet bathroom/shower floor . boarding/disembarking only. I even ordered a second one, assuming…

  • Makes me nervous

Ideal for small bathrooms. Warm and dry but not hot.

I needed a compact towel dryer/heater for a very small attic bathroom and this was the only one available. But so far I like it very much. There will definitely be no HOT towels, but I just need to get rid of the cold in winter. I'm surprised how hot the metal is at only 60 watts. There were several indications that this was not a high end heating pad (see photos) such as a spot where the chrome must have been very thin and plastic wall brackets. But for the price it's very great. What is not…
