The only problem is that cold meat tends to stick to the stainless steel, so you'll have to press the hamburgers between the meat and the metal with a piece of felt or parchment paper. I just received a Revain 5.5 inch stainless steel burger press. Out of the box it feels very solid as it's made from a single piece of stainless steel. It fits my needs perfectly to cook ultra-smashed burgers in a cast iron skillet.
