I like warm socks that hug the legs. These socks slip on my foot. They feel loose and I have to tighten them up all day. Not my favourites.

I needed warm socks for my daily walks this winter. My husband bought it for me for Christmas. This is just what I need to keep my feet warm, plus they're cute!

These socks are very warm and soft but the design is almost like "tube socks" - the lack of a sufficiently defined heel makes them slip off the foot . If you wear them to bed, you'll wake up at least halfway in them.

I loved these socks (so SOFT!) until one of them had a hole in the TOP of my foot. My husband bought them as a Christmas present and since then I've worn them probably a dozen times in the last six months. I am so disappointed. For $17 I expected them to hold up better.

So. The fit is good but not for most shoes. Very thick sock. Clumsy winter boots will do. And it looks like they are good warm socks to wear around the house with slippers etc. Put them on and very comfortable socks. star attraction. As I wasn't expecting them to be so thick I gave a lower rating.

I love the feel of alpaca socks on my feet. Very soft, soft perfection when you feel like walking on clouds. Haven't washed these yet. Other brands have shrunk a bit (not tumble dried) but if you stretch them while wet they will spring back to their original size. I would buy more pairs without hesitation.

Not quite understood what "terry cloth lining" means. These thick socks are perfect for hiking boots. I've ordered another pair in grey. They're a little higher than I'd like, but I just push them to the top of the shoe. Super soft! The size is as expected, unfortunately this color was only medium. I think a smaller one would be better. I usually wear size 7 shoes.

Decided to try these socks as alpaca socks were warmer than typical wool socks on the market. I have not found them to be warmer than other socks I have purchased that are marketed as warm such as B. the Smartwool. My feet/toes are always cold and nothing I've tried over the years has helped. It did nothing to get rid of my cold socks. Even though the size I ordered fits the length as expected, the socks themselves are very loose and slide a lot. So not a good buy for me. These are the most decadently soft and cozy socks I've ever owned. They're warm but not hot, snug but not tight, and just the right height to peek out from under my boots to mid-calf. Beware - they are slippery like all exits, so they are a bit unreliable in the house if you are not careful. Regardless, I really want to give them five stars, but they lose. I was really surprised how much I loved these socks! I love good soft wool socks and usually avoid acrylic like the plague. I bet on them because I wanted nice cream colored slouchy socks.
