This product is unreliable and cheaply made. Home and Kitchen should be ashamed to sell such a low-quality item. When I tried this product, I found that it didn't work at all, despite the supposed "foot-actuated" design. Unfortunately, it was impossible to get a refund, so I had to throw it out.

There is insufficient information on the size of the pin that screws into the tub. There should be BIG and CLEAR advertising in the HEADLINE, not hidden in the fine print. I rebuilt the old one with new parts/internals of this new one to fit. I'll eat $20 next time and buy it at the hardware store.

This is a genuine OEM part. It is a chrome plated brass top, plastic body and brass screw on the bottom. Buy two. This is the one to buy and I don't remain so lighthearted.
