Decent device for the price.

Pleasantly surprised by this device, very cool holds overclocked Xeon 3680 @4ghz, looks very decent. Mounting system could be better, back plate recommended. The bracket can interfere with board components and if you are using mitx you may need to adjust the bracket to fit. The fittings provided are not standard 3/8 barbs, they are smaller, maybe 9mm, just use your own and you'll be fine. It took 6 weeks to get to North Carolina in the US. So if you need it fast, look elsewhere. UpdateAfter…

Don't think, just buy!

This CPU water block is amazing for the price. I would say it's comparable to a swiftech or ek water block. This block blew up the old Eco Coolit 120mm AIO I had on my i3 8350k. My temperature was 20°C higher than the AIO. Of course it's paired with a 240mm radiator, and we're talking dedicated liquid cooling compared to the AIO, but it's still an amazing unit. I was able to overclock my i3 8350k from 4.8GHz at 1.37 volts to 5GHz at 1.42 volts and still maintain the same or lower temperatures…

works with lga771 with minor modifications

I bought 2 of these thinking they might work with the lga771 chipset. After the first try (OOB) it didn't work. I carefully added 3 holes and was able to fit them into my PowerEdge 2950 after removing some of the components. It comes with all mounting hardware and input and output connectors. Works perfectly! No leaks! I'll post pictures later.

  • Great price

Is working. Internals

I want to give a great review but I can't. The barbs were the BIGGEST problem. Because they were cheap and not prickly, they were smooth and grooved. Thank goodness I decided to test the system by blowing into my full tube. I couldn't hear anything but air - even after I bought the worm drive clamps to hold the hose. I was able to install this on AM4 (just use 2 corners and be careful). Do yourself a favor and buy a complete hardware set for a few dollars more.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not bad

NOT SUITABLE FOR AM4! Read review

I bought this when Ryzen came out because I wouldn't mind splitting this block to fit a slightly different am4 socket. When this product was released all AMD sockets used the same bracket and so it was universal for both Intel and AMD, but after Ryzen came out it only fits older sockets. I used some wire which I threaded through the holes and twisted as temporary fasteners until the real am4 water blocks came along. The block itself isn't that bad. It consists of 3 parts: an acrylic panel, a…

Nearly perfect solution

The only problem I had was that the barbs on the hose that came with it are a bit small for the 3/8" ID flexible hose my system is based on. This could be solved by including other sizes (or I could buy some). However, after fitting the standard hose clamps and tightening them enough, I got a watertight seal. Flow through the system was excellent, cooling better than ever before and I can visually see if anything ever starts to dirty the block and the design can let me clean up if needed. In…

Excellent price. Good quality. Keeps the processor cool.

Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V Pro Gen 3CPU: Intel i7 2600k @ 5GHz 1.45v VcoreTemps: 78°C max, at full load with Prime95. Great deal, good water block. to trim the top mounting bracket to fit. (Example in 2nd picture.) My VRM heatsink was in the way. The screws they give may not match your previous mounting points. Be sure to tighten the 4 screws that attach the plastic to the copper block.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Not sure

I wouldn't be in the Fans & Cooling section

I had 3 of the 4 screws tightened - the other one had snapped off. I could see that this did not compress the o-ring evenly. I wouldn't risk using this. The screws that hold the water are screwed into a plate of copper, not plastic, and when the assemblers clean the holes, imagine what it would be like for the user to take them apart to clean them.

Solid, affordable design for computers and accessories

There were just a few small details that I might have missed if I hadn't looked for them. First the screws holding the acrylic to the block were loosened. I was able to easily slide the window onto the block. Once tightened it was good to go. Another problem was the cuts in the block to create the fins. This won't affect the heat factor in any way, but it's a little sloppy. Uneven lines and length of cut. Although not something I would deduct stars for. Considering the price, this is one hell…

The best water block for the price.

What can I say, this processor unit is better than I thought. I have a few pros and cons so please read on. Advantages: 1) G1/4 thread to change the barb fitting at will. 2) The transparent top allows me to see if there is something wrong with the cooling (e.g. air bubbles, dirt). 3) The device is very robust and of high processing quality. Doesn't bend like my last one. 4) Everything I need came, mounting screws, hose clamps, hose fittings. Disadvantages: 1) Mounting/configuring is annoying…
