Water Filter System 0 5 Gpm Review

This is a great device for preserving the taste and smell of water. Eliminate the strong taste of chlorine in municipal water supplies.

It only comes with a one size adapter and doesn't fit my application so I had to go to Home Depot where luckily they had the one size I needed but it cost me an additional $12! I wish DuPont had the foresight to just include enemas in an extra size or two.

The water quality is quite good. The quality of the hose quick connection system is sufficient and does not leak. The quality of the visible tap is normal. I like this system. However, I hate them. The problem is the terrible cost. Sometimes filtered water barely comes out of the tap. And my water pressure is high, as evidenced by the vigorous flow from my sink faucet using the same cold water supply hose. It literally takes 47 seconds to fill a regular sized ceramic coffee mug. Does not work well in WELL system. It's been about three months now and I've settled on a one tank system that works much better. I don't think the well could build enough pressure to flow at a gallon per minute. It took 5-10 minutes to fill a gallon. Filters don't break, but you can write in the description how much pressure you need to run at gallons per minute. The filtered water was amazing, we just used the water too fast and needed water that flowed faster.

Great filter. Replacement cartridges are readily available and easy to replace. The flow rate is a bit slow but I guess that just means it's doing its job of filtering the water properly. I'm suspicious of filters that let water through like these jug filters. Next to her on the counter, I keep a two-liter glass juice bottle, fill it as needed, and dispense filtered water from it.
