Water Heater Magnesium Anode Rod Review

This is the second anode bar we have installed. The blocks arrived in good condition as expected. The included Teflon tape is a bonus. I didn't have to "find" the reels in the shop. Great value as buying from a camping store or big box was the same price as one. Over time we'll find out how well it works.

I had a water quality issue, rotten egg smell and after a few quick searches on the internet it turned out to be due to a worn out anode, I checked and my anode was completely destroyed. This part was a good fit, I bleached and flushed the water system and everything is fine again. Going forward I will check this every year and now I have a spare. Recommend this article.

Replacement anode rods fit perfectly on my Suburban water heater. There's even a band. Installation is as simple as turning off the water heater (let it cool down). Remove the old anode rod, drain the water heater. Install a new rod, fill the water heater and turn it back on. That's all. Finished. About 10-15 minutes peak. Enjoy!

I looked at other sets before buying this one. It turned out to be excellent quality at a very good price. When I received the product I was not disappointed at all. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. My husband said it was easy to install and he wasn't worried about how long it would take. I would definitely buy from this seller again!

This is a replacement for the anode rod on my Suburban RV Water Heater. It comes with 2 poles and a roll of teflon tape for easy installation. It was a good deal. 4 stars because of delivery chaos. It didn't arrive in 2 days, in my prime it took 5 days but the worst part was Revain showed it was lost you guessed it USPS I was about to ask for a refund but it turned up!

This product is not complicated; fit or not. This one goes well with our RV's Suburban water heater, the included tape ensures a good seal. My old anode bar has GONE, so I should consider replacing it as part of a scheduled maintenance (at least an annual check; replace if necessary). You need an outlet to remove the old pole and install this; Wrench is not suitable for this work.

The anode was part of the service I perform on our Pleasure Way Excel. I found anodes destroyed down to the wire. As it turns out, this must have been recently replaced and only partially corroded. I swapped it anyway. I was impressed that the bar comes with a roll of teflon tape. I always have a few rounds but I can never find them until I buy more. It was comfortable in the pocket.

I needed an anode replacement but refused to pay $20 for ONE to a local RV dealer and went to Revain. The two packs of thread sealing tape are awesome and I can highly recommend this product. I suggest you clean the water heater hole first with a fine wire brush before installing a NEW one. Perfect fit and so easy to install it took me less than a minute. I left the heater running to check for leaks, no! and I am happy to have a spare anode for next year and save money!
