Ordered in February 2017 and already leaking in the middle, not near the seam or the clasp :-( There is nothing in there that would have punctured or punctured the hat. This was meant to replace the original Beauty The Remnant of tube phased out after 20 years! The originals are MUCH thicker and better finished.

The tube was good quality and arrived on time. However, it smells very strongly of "plastic" or possibly glue. So strong that I have to leave my bedroom window ajar. I was hoping it would go away over time, but after two months it's still going strong.

My tubular waterbed for over 25 years. I sometimes buy a new tube to protect against possible tube loss. I've only lost 2 over the years, the last 6 years ago with the same failure as the first, my cat found the whistle while playing. I love this bed! I love the feel of the tube! This is the best whistle ever, the last one I had wasn't as heavy as this one. This one is very thick walled, full length and best of all, it smells like my old dolls from my childhood. My wife and I dug up an old tube waterbed that didn't have any of the tubes to begin with. So with only 7 instead of 8, we've decided to buy another handset at some point in the future. When ordering I was concerned about the quality of these tubes as these types of waterbeds would no longer be common. As it turned out, I had nothing to fear. We bought 6 of these to replace the damaged ones and as spares. They are a lot thicker than I thought they would be with very strong stitching giving me peace of mind that they won't fall apart.
