I would give 5 stars if it had a switch. I installed the switch myself. The panel heater is excellent. I can eat my breakfast while it's hot.

I heated my plates in a small double oven at 145 degrees. I'm moving and the new range doesn't have a double oven so I bought this plate warmer and used it a few times. Does a wonderful job. I will recommend.

We are very happy with this plate warmer. It's so nice to sit down to a well cooked meal that's still warm before you can enjoy it because the plate was cold. It's perfect for those cold winter evenings or for breakfast. We use every evening. So easy to use.

I love this product. It is ideal to serve warm food on warm plates. Once used to it, you will never again enjoy warm food on cold plates. This small size is perfect for my husband and I and a few dinner guests. Invest in a larger size for more guests. It adds so much to a lovingly prepared home cooked meal!

Warms plates very well and looks good enough to leave on the counter when not in use. The hardest part is remembering to turn it on before the dish is done. Reheats plates without overheating, as if placed in a hot oven. Much better than putting hot food on a cold plate that has just cooled.

Although I was skeptical that we would need it, my husband convinced me that serving hot food on a warm plate would be far better than putting it on a cold plate. I didn't think it would make such a big difference, but I have to say it's a lot nicer to eat food that hasn't gone cold at the end of the meal. It would be nice if it had an automatic shutdown function if we forget to turn it off.

I used to live in Florida and plate warmers were never considered, let alone considered. I don't live in Florida anymore and the winters are cold; our plates are kept and cool in a cupboard attached to the outside wall. Hot food on a cold plate will quickly become cold on a cold plate. I bought this plate warmer and now we put hot food on a warm plate and help keep food hotter for longer. I highly recommend heaters for our northern reaches and I highly recommend these as well.

I chose this product because I hate putting hot food on a cold plate. It works great and warms up my plates nicely while I cook. The only downside is I don't think it really holds six plates. To do this, you must be under a heating pad, on a table or countertop. My surface is granite and it's very cold in winter, so I have to avoid direct contact between the granite and the slab.
