Bottom line: Waterford isn't "old Waterford" anymore. Don't buy this. They may have updated the online photo since my purchase but the photo of the Waterford Lismore biscuit jar displayed on Revain was not the same product as the lower quality biscuit jar received. The photo appears to show an "old Waterford" biscuit jar when the high quality Waterford was still made in Ireland. The cookie jar I bought was not the same as pictured; it is not a Lismore template but rather a universal template. It's ok and I'll save it of course, but again not the posted image.

I heard a rumor that Ronald Reagan kept his gummy bears in a biscuit jar in Lismore. So he had good taste! This cookie jar is a real eye-catcher. The cuts are very attractive and the container itself is heavy. This is a very nice addition to any collection.
