Recommended by the dentist

As a dentist, I am always looking for ways to help my patients deal with periodontitis. Either my patients don't want surgery or I can't eliminate some pockets. The Pik Pocket tips appear to work by allowing the water tip to enter the pocket, flushing out debris and destroying bacterial colonies. Of course, I still encourage my patients to brush and floss their teeth, and the toothpick pouch is an additional tool to prevent or slow the progression of periodontal disease.

Pros
  • Very gentle cleaning around implants, bridges and crowns
Cons
  • Very expensive

Water Pik Ultra Pik Pocket spares work great and arrived lightning fast as expected. Water Pik's instructions say to change these tips every few months. Well, I completely ignored that advice until my pocket tip was a year old and had a split page. The new replacement tip works really well and really cleans the gum area thoroughly. Too bad I didn't replace them much sooner than the instructions say - it's so nice to have clean gums and optimal dental hygiene. This product really works!

Pros
  • Includes two color coded
Cons
  • Expensive

Packaging shown for WP-100 models, not WP-100W

Bag tip tip leaked a lot and radiating power was very weak. Then I found out that this is the wrong size model for my irrigator, which is the WP-100W. I've read the reviews and FAQs carefully and read that it fits the WP-100W, but it doesn't. I also noticed that the free tube diameter is larger than my WP-100W irrigator handpiece. Upon closer inspection of the receipt the item is described as follows: Waterpik PP-100E Pik Pocket Twin Tip from a UK address. If you keep buying the WP-100W, it…

Pros
  • Reach up to 90% of 6mm bag
Cons
  • Long delivery time
