Had to sell an organ to get a new iPad mini so wanted to make sure it's safe! This is a great case, light weight and true to the reviews. I don't plan on using the case underwater or anything like that, but if I'm in the pool or watching a movie while taking a dip I'm sure it will work great. The cover fits snugly and snugly. The only complaint might be fingerprints on the screen, which is common with all touchscreens.

Seems solid and good value but not as comfortable to hold as my Lifeproof case which eventually broke and had to be replaced but it is no longer available. It would be much better if the edges were rounded instead of square. There should also be another attachment point for the strap to make it more suitable for left-handed/right-handed people. I haven't tested it for water resistance but I'm sure it will protect against splashes and splashes on the boat or spills in the kitchen.

I was very nervous when I gave a brand new mini iPad 5 to my stepdaughter who was just 10 years old. The case is solid and very easy to install, it just snaps into place and has a built in screen protector so it serves two purposes. All of the floors in my house are concrete, so having shock-absorbing corners is a big plus. In general, I recommend the case.

Poor design. The sleep and sound buttons do not work on this case as they are poorly designed. Doesn't fit the iPad mini 5 buttons. Seems waterproof and durable, but I need to set my sleep time to 2 minutes so I can just put it aside to let the iPad go to sleep. This is annoying for my use. I had to take another case.

Amazing case! I use it for my personal/professional iPad mini, my 6 year old daughter and also my 2-3 year old autistic daughter. The waterproof feature is great if you spill a drink on it. Once my youngest daughter dropped it in the pool and thanks to that the iPad was safe and sound. My autistic daughter has a habit of throwing things around the room to make herself giggle. She threw the iPad MANY TIMES! And it's in perfect, like-new condition with no scratches. The screen on the case is easy

I can't believe that you can buy such a good and simple product at this price! I was an Otterbox fan until I got sick of the aesthetic and became more interested in LifeProof's simplicity. However, the price is enough to put me off the LP. Then I found this, it's beautiful. The best part is that it's so easy to open and close! I'm afraid to check the water resistance. We lost our last iPad to water. So far my 7 year old has survived many iPad falls and it still works. Easy to wash with wet towels as it is water resistant making it more durable. The sound is still loud through the case. It still works with tempered glass (I had a cover before, didn't want to take it off) on the iPad. The stand is still holding. Other coasters broke off. I have concerns about overheating as phones do when they get too hot for the case,
