I bought this watch for my 8 year old child. I didn't want to give him a digital watch. I wanted him to learn to read hands. It was light at night and fits in well. It's definitely waterproof. The only downside is that the plastic of the watch was completely worn and scratched. I couldn't delete it. I ordered a replacement, but in general. I think it's a great watch.

Watch works great. We gifted this for our 5 year old after he learned to read analog time. The watch is sporty and a great size for a small person like him.
