It was cool for about two weeks then the battery died needed replacing, the battery worked for a day then it died completely, changed the battery again with no success.

The watch looks cool but is cheaply made. Part of the compass on the watch just fell out like it was badly glued. Not to mention that they say "water resistant," but once they're in the water, the inside of the watch evaporates and is gone forever. I would not recommend it to anyone.

I bought this watch for my son and he loves it. He wears it every day from getting up to going to bed. We have just returned from a hike and this has been our main source of time and navigational aid the whole time. He even started a fire with flint and a striker.

Looks very cool although quite chunky and the tools impress a nine year old boy. But it's not adjustable (it's an adult wrist size) and when trying to adjust it the strap broke and now we can't find a replacement size or return it. A very sad nine year old boy... and $17.

This is one of the best survival watches I have ever had. Fits better on my wrist. The dial is easy to see. Digital LCD display with bright backlight. Why they make the whole technique "black" in color I will never understand. The LCD display is easy to read thanks to decent numbers and letters. The instructions were a little confusing for programming the date, but I figured it out with some experimentation. I wish the thermometer wasn't Celsius. But once you know the scale, you're good to go…
