The fan fitted the old mainboard exactly and initially worked great. However, after only a few months of use 24/7, the fan is intermittently noisy. It's less noisy than a seven-year-old fan, but that's not saying much.

I was glad to find this cheap replacement for my HP desktop as I was getting the "Fan not found" error message on startup. This fan was the same size as my old fan and was reasonably priced. It was easy to install with the screws provided and up and running straight away. Makes 0 noise.
