worth every penny Best in Microwave Oven Parts & Accessories

Thank goodness they were available on Amazon because I looked everywhere before I found them. I have a new over the stove top microwave and the lightbulbs recently blew out. probably due to power surges from PG&E, but I digress. I was looking for LEDs and want this company to carry them as they last longer. Meanwhile, I'm glad I found these bulbs, which were perfect and got me back into the light.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Hard to say

Another Chinese description of the bug

Another Chinese garbage. I was specifically looking for a four pin bulb. The product image shows a four post filament mount. What I received is a bipolar lightbulb. I didn't get what I was supposed to get. The description says one thing, the reality is quite different. Very typical of what you'll find at Revain these days. A thread structure with four columns is more reliable than one with two. That's how much vibration a microwave fan causes.

  • Excellent general properties

You'll no longer pay $18 for a GE replacement bulb.

I can't help but agree. And thanks to Revain, you can see how much you can save when you buy this 6-pack, since a single GE microwave bulb costs more than a paltry $18. Brilliant!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Lightbulbs burn out too easily

These lightbulbs are good value but unfortunately they are of poor quality and defective. The filaments of 5 out of 6 bulbs burned out immediately when turned on and the 6th bulb didn't work at all. It was very discouraging. I bought a replacement bulb from the store for $3.98 and it worked perfectly. I would also like to add that the onions were poorly packaged for shipping as the 6 pack was in a large box with a small sheet of protective plastic wrap. A box of lightbulbs bounced around in a…

The lamp I need for the kitchen and dining room

This was the replacement lamp I needed for my Whirlpool microwave oven. Because the light on this model is on the back of the unit, it's a little awkward to reach the area to take out the old bulb and put in the new one. The lamp cavity may be slightly deeper to make lamp replacement easier. Neither of these points is a lamp fault, but a design feature of the microwave oven itself. Time and use will determine how long the bulb lasts before I have to replace it again. 6 pieces is a good option.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Poor instructions

READ the instructions on how to change the lightbulbs on your UNIT

3 stars because I don't know if it's my fault or defective lightbulbs. It took 4 to replace the microwave bulb because the first 3 just exploded as soon as I screwed them in. However, I have read the instructions under my microwave and it CLEARLY says to turn the mic OFF to change the lightbulbs. When I did that, the 4 worked. So user error? Or 3 mistakes? I'm not sure. I don't have 4.50 for 3 burnt out pears anyway. **UPDATE** Had to replace ONE working lightbulb because it had already burned…

Just as good as original GE bulbs and much cheaper

I bought a GE JVM3160 microwave oven less than a year ago. Both lower bulbs burned out. These universal replacement bulbs are slightly longer than the original bulbs, but fit in both compartments and work just as well as the original bulbs. At under $10 for 6 bulbs, that's a lot better than paying $16 for a single genuine GE replacement bulb, especially since GE bulbs don't even last a year (one of them burned out after just a few months). and the other lasted 9 months). I just recently…

Half of the lightbulbs blew out immediately

Replaced a blown lightbulb under the microwave; no problem. The light from the old bulb and the new bulb didn't look the same, so I decided to replace the (still working) old bulb on the other side. Inserted the first from a new pack, turned on power and POP. The lightbulb has burned out. Paste the second and POP. third? POP. Put in your own lightbulb, no problem. Neither the socket nor the microwave are ok. Thought maybe I should go while I'm ahead. But I did a little research and saw a post…
