Disappointing Light Performance

Based on our own experience, this aquarium light is a letdown. While the price point is affordable the light output leaves much to be desired. We found it didn't provide enough illumination for our plants, and the blue hue was not aesthetically pleasing..

Pros
  • Pro: Affordable price
Cons
  • Con: Poor light output and blue hue

Brilliant light for aquatic pets

This aquarium light is perfect for any fish owner out there. With its micro daylight of 6 watts and 12 inches length it shines bright without being too overpowering .As my tests showed, the light promotes growth in plants and enhances the color of my aquatic pets. The product is also incredibly easy to install and use. The only con i could find is that the price is a bit high compared to other Pet Supplies, but its worth the investment for the quality..

Pros
  • Energy efficient lighting option
Cons
  • May not provide enough brightness for larger aquariums or plants needing high light levels.

As much as I lean towards a bluer spectrum/appearance, they just aren't bright enough. The block should be 50/50. Or add another row of twelve LEDs. It's so dark in my small tank that I can hardly find my fish. My…
