🔌 Enhanced Weatherproof Electrical Outlet Box Review

I ordered 3. One of the boxes that arrived was broken from the inside where the device was screwed in. In general; They were available and still are.

Saved me a trip to the big store and the price was about the same. Use it as a junction box for multiple LED panels on a tripod. Contains all common plugs and threaded hole adapters.

They work very well and I really like their flexibility, all holes are 1/2 or 3/4 plus plugs for unused holes. I think some of the screw holes in the corners don't line up well with some of the covers, but I was able to twist the screws a bit to the side and it worked. I would love to get more but they seem to be sold out right now.

This box is good for the money but useless if the weatherproof cover doesn't fit. I bought a standard two-piece weatherproof lid, but the box and lid are the same size. The lid is meant to fit over the box so the gasket forms a watertight seal. I'll buy a box instead. I'm not sure I can return it to Revane.

Dimensions 4 holes (for blank lid) approx 3.7 x 3.36 inches. The standard lid has holes measuring 3.58" x 3.28" (approx). If I had a proper cover that would make the product really useful I would give it 5 stars. If anyone can provide a link to a suitable cover I'll likely update my review. Too bad I didn't read the other reviews mentioning this and bought another box.

The box was purchased to install a new duplex socket on an outside wall. I was unable to secure the (branded) socket (plug) inside the box and the gasket on the weatherproof cover did not fit the box securely. I ended up with an old metal box that I had on hand with no problem. This box will be returned for possible future internal use.

I had a round steel electrical box but it didn't fit my camera plus ring light! I bought this PVC to replace and it fits perfectly as the screw hole has been offset a few inches. My stolen one was flush with the ring of the box so there are small gaps (water could get in). Installation was easy; However, I'm not sure if it's durable as I installed it the day it was delivered.
