Will NOT work. I have both an Arlo Pro and an Arlo Pro 2. Also, this thing was very difficult to plug in. I was very excited when I opened it up and saw how long the cord was, how flat it was and how easy it was to set up. around the house but I was disappointed to see that it wasn't working at all. Do not buy.

The product is difficult to connect. Then. When connecting to the Arlo app, a message appears stating that the charging cable is not compatible with Arlo and needs to be replaced. When I first connected (to check) everything was fine. After installing the camera and running the cable, a message started appearing. I've tried resetting several times but the message persists.

ordered 4 of these for my arlo pro 2 rig to keep them powered at all times. The micro-USB ends are tight but provide a solid connection. I had to mount some cameras upside down because the cable lugs tend to get in the way if you tilt the cameras too far. However, the software settings allow you to invert the image to accommodate this, so no big deal. So far there are no problems. I will update if anything changes. I ordered 5 outdoor plugs for my Arlo Pro 2 system and they work very well. As others have pointed out, the power cord is very snug on the camera, but this is necessary to keep water/rain off the camera. Simply line up the micro USB connector and press firmly into the camera. I wanted to believe that this product would work despite the negative reviews. However, 48 hours after turning on my Arlo Pro camera, the adapter completely failed. I get an error message that "load error detected". The instruction was to "disconnect and reconnect the charger from the camera connector side". This involved pulling out a ladder to get to the camera (which I wanted to avoid by buying an external charger), removing the camera from the mount, unplugging and plugging the charger back
