Great Brush for my Horse!

I've been using this brush on my mare for a few weeks now and I'm really impressed. It's gentle on her sensitive skin and the bristles do a great job of detangling and smoothing her mane and tail. The comfortable grip also makes it easy to use for long periods of time. The only downside is that it's a bit pricier than some other mane and tail brushes on the market. Overall, a great investment for anyone who wants to keep their horse looking and feeling their best. Keywords: Pet Supplies.

Pros
  • Efficiently removes tangled hair and dirt from mane and tail
Cons
  • Bristles are too firm and may cause discomfort to some horses

Hugh Quality No Pull Brush with Comfortable Leather Handle

The shape of this brush and the leather handle deserve 5 stars. It's even purple! It doesn't pull hair. I use it on my own human hair which is very thick and 4ft long. The distance between the bristles/teeth of a horse brush is longer than that of human brushes, so they pull less. This manufacturer gets high ratings and this brush is a quality product.

Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

The leather bristles are softer (slightly more flexible) than the .

Leather bristles are softer (slightly more flexible) than those of the Oster brand. I have one too and the brush head is smaller than the Oster brush head. Soft bristles are easier to care for the horse's mane and tail (less hair falls out of the tail when detangling). My horse has a very thick mane and tail, so a larger soft bristle lure is preferable for faster grooming.
