The jacket is excellent at keeping the lambs cool but does not protect well from dust. Went to the show, took off my jacket and found the lamb in the mesh jacket was a dusty brown, not white. However, it does the job of keeping lamb cool. Another option is to dampen the feathers with water to prevent dust from seeping through the jacket onto the wool.

Firstly I think this is a really well made quality product for keeping show sheep in stables clean. We bought two for my son's 4H lamb projects. However, they are really big. I bought a large one for our 160 lb lamb and he swam in it. I would definitely downsize. It works quite well and is easily adjustable, but if I didn't have time before the show week I would return it and order a smaller size.

This is our first year with lamb. The duvet (and netting) appear to be of good quality and should last a couple of seasons. The only thing I don't like is the tie under the belly. I have seen some other pin up quilts and heard they are "old" quilts. I wish mine had this clip (or I'll have to figure out how to install it myself). You need to make sure you tie your blanket securely so it doesn't come loose and wrap the blanket around your lamb. If you have a "spicy" lamb it can be a little tricky
