large hay net on feeding and watering equipment

I ordered another hay net after my mare took it off the fence and lugged it around. The pink hay net seemed like the right choice. When it arrived I was surprised to see the size. This was a problem as it was hanging close to the ground. Another problem was that the ropes that could be hung on the fence weren't as strong as my other two nets. Yes I still use mesh but size and ropes are my issues.

Works great for horses

Love these hay nets, excellent quality and work well. I give my horses 4 bundles of hay and they take 35 minutes to eat it but with the nets they take 2 hours and 25 minutes to eat it all. I also built a pole to hang them up and it works great. Much better quality than my last net which snapped at the bottom. (It was also more expensive)😕. I recommend these nets, the color may fade a bit from the sun and dirt, but that's ok.

Weaver Nets vs Tough 1 Nets (Spoilers - Weaver WINS)

I have used both Weaver Nets and Tough 1 Nets on my Tough 1 hay tires. These Weaver nets last three times longer than Tough 1 nets. Both take damage over time and need to be repaired. However, only one of my three Weaver networks had a hole patched in 2 months. My last nets were Tough-1 and they were all repaired so many times that they had to be replaced after 2-3 months (same beasts). To be fair, I love the Tough 1 hay tires, just not the poor quality Tough 1 nets.

First hay nets Buy more

I have tried many hay nets and this is the first one I will buy again! First, I buy everything in neon pink, sit on the board and realize that my stuff is less wasted if I do that, and it's so pink it's amazing. I use them daily, have been feeding them twice a day since August and they still look brand new. The maximum they can hold is about half a small square bale, I would say about 30-40 pounds, I feed in 2-4 flakes and there is always room for more. The holes are a good size, 2 inches, they

Excellent quality and durability

A few months ago we ordered two of these (pink and green) for our two horses. Both get used to it every day and are both sent out to pasture when the horses are driven away. They have survived being trampled, chewed, pulled, exposed to rain, frozen and exposed to direct sunlight in 95 degree weather, urinating etc etc and are still holding up very well with no breaks, breaks or knots. A net hanging rope is long enough for the loop to go through something while leaving about 2.5 to 3 feet on…
