    Reins are good for reins

The reins are nice and thick. A little greasy, but I keep rubbing it in. Say well done. I like buckles for quick removal and replacement.

Excellent quality good for a tack

These thick leather reins are of very good quality. The buckles make changing bits/headbands easy while still being very secure. I am very happy with them.

    • Excellent construction
    Cons
    • Unbelievable price

    Terrible packaging

The product itself is beautiful. No complaints. The packaging is really terrible. The reins were thrown into the box, they were bent and folded as if they had just been stuffed into the box. There was no packaging or tags around the reins, it was just a shipping box and reins. Very disappointed.

    Pros
    • Very good price
    Cons
    • A little wrinkled

Leather not as good as before

I sent these reins back immediately. They were to replace an old pair of Weaver Leather Stacey Westfall Reins that had been damaged. The new pair was not even remotely inferior in quality to the old ones. The skin feel was different. The ending, which was well weighted on the old ones, hardly thickens on the new ones. I don't know why Weaver used the worst leather and that's how the reins felt to me. I have three Weaver Westfall stands and two sets of reins so I know what the quality should be.

    Pros
    • Stylish and modern design
    Cons
    • Minor blemishes
