Look, that's not real Speedweve. It's weak, the hooks are uneven, the wood is unfinished, it needs lots of replacement elastics, and I had to watch about fifteen tutorial videos online to figure out what I was doing as the instructions provided were almost non-existent. But I'm not a professional seamstress. I just need something to mend holes in my socks and I spent a good ten bucks on that.

I bought it thinking it would be small but not as small as it was! Directions are VERY vague. In order to use this item you must know what you are going to do. For example, you should have done this before and have an idea of what you are doing. I definitely can't understand it and learn from it. In general, the instructions were on one page, there are pictures that take up most of the page, and the number of words is maybe half the page. If the instructions were better I would most likely keep

While it technically works as it should, the first time I used it I used all (5) of the rubber bands that came with it. I didn't even tighten the elastics, the metal just cut them through when I tried to pull them over the hook piece. I taped the edges with tape to make them less sharp.
