Ignore the recent reviews complaining that there is nothing to screw on the hardware. I just bought this flashlight and as the description makes clear it is designed for a Logitech webcam and screws right into the base of the webcam. Feels secure and the light works great with the controller and brightness settings. Attention, if you do not have a newer Logitech webcam, it must be attached to a tripod.

I may have come across a blemish, but the threaded insert on the mount doesn't match my camera's tripod thread. I love that I can just plug it into my computer and start streaming, and since it's USB I can use my smartphone's power plug to use an outlet instead. Everyone says "read the description - you need your own mount" but the real problem is that you can't use your own mount without an adapter.
